Getting Here
Public Transit

Take the Canada Line to Granville Station - we're literally a 3-minute walk from there. Bus routes 10 and 50 stop right outside too.

Parking

Street parking available on Granville and side streets. There's also a parkade on Seymour St (one block over) if you need longer-term parking.

Cycling

Bike racks right in front of the building. We've got a shower if you need one after the ride!

First visit? Our entrance is a bit hidden - look for the brass door handle and the small Emberwatch sign. Buzz us at suite 201.

What Happens After You Reach Out?

Here's the typical flow (though every project's a bit different):

  1. Initial Response: We'll get back to you within 24 hours to set up a call or meeting
  2. Discovery Chat: We talk about your project, budget, timeline - just feeling things out
  3. Site Visit: If it makes sense, we'll come see the space (or potential site) in person
  4. Proposal: We'll put together a detailed proposal outlining scope, timeline, and fees
  5. Kickoff: If we're all on the same page, we get to work!
Design process

Got Questions Before Reaching Out?

We get these a lot, so figured we'd answer 'em upfront:

Mostly we stick to the Lower Mainland, but we've done projects as far as Whistler and the Gulf Islands. If you're further out, let's talk - depends on the project scope.

We work on everything from single-room renovations to full custom homes. Our sweet spot is residential projects in the $200K-$2M construction range, but honestly, if the project's interesting, we're flexible.

It varies based on project scope, but we typically charge a percentage of construction cost (usually 10-15%) or hourly rates for smaller stuff. We'll give you a clear breakdown in our proposal - no hidden fees or surprises.

Design phase usually takes 2-4 months. Permitting's another 2-6 months (City of Vancouver's permitting timeline, not ours!). Construction depends on the size - anywhere from 6 months to 18 months for larger projects.

Yep! We offer design-only services. Though honestly, most clients find it helpful to have us involved through construction too - saves headaches down the road. But we're flexible.
